Have You Tried or Heard of Hyper Live Avatars?

Just saw a job listing on the front page, and Hyper sounds a little interesting as a product.

Aside from the gimmicky funk of "pseudonymous founders", the core offering does sound like it could empower people, especially those not genetically blessed with great looks.

Have any of you tried out the product? If so, I'd like to hear your take.
