SaaS that you pay for that still bites you?

SaaS = displacement of the balance of power between a software company and its clients. If a client does not pay its rent, the software is shut down and the data is jailed on the servers. Super powerful control over "rogue" companies/people (students would be a target of choice).

They just need to make sure standalone application software becomes garbage or sabotage them cuningly, that to push companies(/people) to engage with them.

Just "update" the horribly complex file formats in the SaaS and not in the standalone application and done.

Who said microsoft office767 via only apple webkit or google blink?!
