How to make Windows 11 suck less?

I am a UNIX native spending more time in Windows 11 lately (from Linux and macOS).

What are your best tips to make Windows 11 suck less?

Tips be could be for installation, bloat removal, preferred apps, registry hacks, security, daily usage, etc.

I haven’t used Windows 11, but I think starting this discussion with the conviction that Windows 11 sucks and can’t be configured to not suck at all is unproductive.

Bend with the wind, don’t fight it. Install WSL, for example, but don’t try to turn it in a Linux or MacOS clone, as, at best, it will be only a decent approximation of either.

If you can avoid Win 11 at all I'd recommend it. Not in general, but people who try to somehow improve it generally. It's not really that possible to do.

Use winget (Microsoft App Installer) for package management. Take notes. Re-install from scratch frequently. Run on Insider Beta channel (especially if on AMD Ryzen processor). Leverage Visual Studio Code, OneDrive, and Edge browser when possible. Ensure that RealTimeIsUniversal property key is set when using UTC as your clock.

Not specific to w11, more like anything after w7, but I like this menu replacement and you might too https://www.stardock.com/products/start10/
