How did you like the Strange New Worlds pilot?

I'll start: after every ST episode saving the world and all parallel universes from annihilation, I'm glad the franchise returns to an episodic delivery. The topics (peace vs war, responsible use of technology) are current, but rendition is light which is a welcome contrast to recent STs. The cast is well-picked and suits characters. On my wish-list of season 2 is an increased CGI budget.

Thanks for the heads up, I did not know they had made a new series. Will start tonight. Hopefully better than Discovery.

I like it so far. I also just started the Picard series season 1 and I am enjoying that as well! That one reminds me somewhat of Firefly. I am loving these ST series.
