What do you think are the top books to learn your field of study/work?

Not necessarily classics. Include books that are beginner friendly in a pedagogic sense. Classics need a little bit of expertise or know how of the subject to appreciate. A lot of the time beginners get intimidated by classics and are turned away from what could have been a beautiful endeavour.

But you can mention classics. Just don't mention only classics. Mention books that can attract people to your subject.
