What are the worst tech companies to work for?

Discussions about the tech job market on HN/CSC often revolve around FAANG and other non-FAANG but desirable companies to look for. I'd like to know about the flip side. What are the worst tech companies to work for? Keep in mind that the meaning of "worst" is relative. For some, a company with a higher pay but a toxic work environment is the worst. For others, it's the contrary (i.e. a company with a sane environment but shitty pay).

Name and shame.

I will further muddy the waters by saying that not only is the meaning of "worst" relative, but the scope of "worst" is at the team level.

I worked for a dysfunctional (now dead) company about 10 years ago. The mobile dev team was a nice environment, the web team was a hot mess of overtime and panic fixes, and the QA department was run by some of the most selfish and cruel people I have ever encountered in the workplace.

I left that company to go to a conglomerate with over 100,000 employees and offices on almost every continent (no love for Antarctica). What could I possibly say about that company beyond the team level?

That said, it's important to share experiences. We are labor. It's in the best interest of management to keep us down as much as possible.
