Is it still a good time for changing jobs?

I'm in my 40s, currently employed in a very stable big e-commerce company and I've been offered a great position in a young, VC baked startup (running since 2018).

I know the market is on fire right now but, at the same time, I read a lot of comments about how we're near a new "dot com bubble"-like crash in a year or two.

What do you think? It's time to "get your chair" and stop playing before the music ends?

Rather than looking at the overall situation, which is not useful and only encourages making bad, FOMO-driven decisions, just evaluate the offer in your own personal context. Can you afford to take a risk of losing a great position in a year or two if everything goes bad? Are you comfortable with the stress and uncertainty involved? Do you think the company has a good chance at 'making it'? I think if you answer those questions for yourself, you'll know what to do.

A lot of places are starting to institute hiring freezes, so if you're looking to change, the window might be closing at a lot of places soon.

It's really impossible for anyone to give you good advice without knowing more about you, your values, your skills, your risk tolerance, etc.

But don't worry about the music ending. The world is constantly changing, and while that ends some music, it also creates new music. Just follow the music!
