1) Anonymity
2) Public, widespread and easy verifiability of the technology running
3) Security against voting fraud
4) Verifiability of each vote legitimacy after the voting take place
As it stands today, paper is still the technology that gets the closest, it seems.
Modernity is a waste of humanity, before oil this was balanced by the natural cycle (birth, death, decay, regrowth.)
We should use technology to get us out of the messes technology have gotten us into.
Everyone is so interested in living longer, few ask for what worth beyond themselves of the time naturally given to us.
For too long, the technology industry has been dominated by white men. We need to see more women and people of color in tech so they can bring their ideas and experiences into the fold. We also need to see more people from under-represented groups applying for jobs at larger companies and startups alike.
