Is Gmail mistakenly reporting legitimate emails as spam?

the past few days I see very legitimate emails end up in spam. These include Dropbox, my bank's, and even google's very own emails sometimes? Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, I am under the same impression that the spam detection takes some false positives lately. Even an official government mail which was a .gov equivalent. Glad I am not the only one noticing.

I do not use gmail but I have noticed anecdotally the frequency of people mentioning this issue here has increased steadily over the past few months for what it's worth.

It happens with my bank as well, fortunately it have never treated my own domains as spam which would be annoying, but I use to buy domain names that have never been used before.
