Tip of my tongue – Reverse path wireless power solution?

Hi HN, Does anyone remember a supposedly new wireless power transmission mechanism?

I don't remember much about it but the way it was supposed to work is it would beam the power to the device back the way some original signal was sent FROM the device, regardless of how many other things it bounced off of, it would trace the signal back and send it power by the same route it received the original signal.
