What did your interview rejections teach you?
What did your interview rejections teach you?
That the job market might not be as good as people say. That I'm not that good and that my skills aren't that much in demand. That I need to spend more time preparing for certain interviews. That I don't need to interview for positions that I know aren't suitable for me.
I have had one interview rejection, about ten years ago. It was when I was in a new country and hadn't fully decided what I wanted to focus on, and it showed. The rejection showed me that I need to be clear about what I want to do. If I apply for a role, I need to go all in on that thing and not apply willy-nilly for random things hoping one will stick. Since then, I've only applied for roles I am genuinely interested in, with clear view of what exactly I want. That's worked out much better.
Black list those companies.
