I'm a PhD student in robotics currently writing down my first paper. Any tips or advice on how I can structure and write a clear, understandable and concise paper? What HN researchers do when writing their papers?

Contact your counsellor or teacher at school! There is a very definite advantage to get their specific opinions because they will be grading it, and involving them shows both interest and concern.

Furthermore, it is always important to boil the paper's subject down to a single sentence, and start from there.
