Why don't security cameras look like eyeballs that move and blink?


Wouldn't such security cameras be more likely to attract people's attention and discourage bad behavior?

Yes put them in pairs, on mobile platforms about 4 inches apart, with microphones and a dead dulling substance in between and use radio communications and for high speed mobility special cars..... Ever see Smokey the Bandit?

Humor aside, eyes that follow, etc might have a huge creepy factor...strikeback?

The point of a surveillance system, for better or for worse, is to fade into the background so the subject forgets that they're being surveilled, even if they know about it.
