Do you still use Facebook.com for business anymore?

Curious question because I haven't been on Facebook.com for 5 years. Do people still use this website for business? E.g. Create a business page and actively use it? Or are most of those pages just legacy. My gut feeling is that most people use Instagram (yes, it's also Facebook) rather than Facebook.com.

I use Facebook exclusively for business, but not via Ads or an official company page. I use my personal page, for business.

0. I unfriended all of my friends from high school & college and connected with thousands of peers in my field.

1. I post work related content as statuses & in relevant Facebook Groups focused on creating value for the reader.

2. It drives visitors to my Facebook profile, which is optimized like a landing page to compels visitors to click a link in my profile

3. This link goes to 'indoctrination content' that drives users onto our email list, YouTube channel, Facebook Group, and signup to our B2B SaaS.

I can attribute approx $1.5m in consulting revenue & 4,000 SaaS signups to this strategy over the last 2 years. Note, not 100% Facebook, I implement the exact same playbook on LinkedIn too.

Never have, never will. But I don't provide consumer goods, nor services. It's all B2B. Use LinkedIn for some professional connections, but mostly rely on my network and recommendations.

You need a fb page for Google Seo at least for a trusted link and your business phone and address.
