Good, lightweight 2D animation engines for Android/iOS

What are our options if we want to include interactive animations in our app and want them to be as lightweight as possible. Rive seems like one option. What are other ones? We'd want something that allows for skeletal animation, but a physics engine is not essential (Unity and Blender seem like overkill.) Thank you!
