Could your company operate without meetings. Why or why not?

I totally get the value of meetings, but I've been running into companies that have different operating structures lately and wondering if there are companies out there that just don't have meetings. Curious to know what these hypothetical companies do and how they manage.

The company I own has a meeting less than once a year. We're at about 15 months right now.

It's a bar.

Not all companies have or need a lot of meetings, but maybe it's more relevant to your line of work.

I'm sure there's great variation in tech, too. I was a web dev and one company met every day, one met every couple of weeks. Both functioned well.

My company has very few meetings. I might attend a meeting once or twice a year. One of the reasons why I am still working there. In my experience the more meetings a company has, the less effective/productive a company is. And I like getting things done.

We can not survive without meetings. A lot of things have to sort out in a task force group and a meeting is way more organized than a random channel.
