Did Stripe forget to turn off their grid before pushing?

I see vertical lines on a few of the new Stripe landing pages now that go from the header to the footer, e.g.:

https://stripe.com/payments/ach-direct-debit

It could conceivably be an intentional design decision - but it really looks to me like a developer tool didn't get turned off for aligning items on the page.

Hi there! Thanks for double-checking; I'm here on behalf of the team at Stripe that designs and builds stripe.com. The gridlines are an intentional part of our design system—partly to provide some optical structure, and partly as a metaphor for Stripe providing infrastructure in close partnership with developers. We're always open to feedback though; thanks again!
