What's the best opportunity you had to decline, for 1 reason or another?

I turned down a counteroffer that was 20% over the offer-being-countered (which would have been like a 40% raise). The job was ok but management was wack. Turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made to turn down the counter. New company and role was amazing.
