Is HN changing the submission dates of certain posts?

Noticed something strange with HN. I got an article from the pool in my reader a while back (19th) but saw the timestamp of that submission and my comment that I made of it was pushed forward to just now. Is this intended? I was tipped off when there was a reply to my comment which showed me the wrong timestamp.
