Satellite data analysis for war impact on climate and humans in Ukraine

I'm one of the founders of Valinor Earth, a geospatial data analytics startup focusing on climate change. We are looking for ways to contribute with the situation in Ukraine by building something with Satellite data, especially with SAR.

We have successfully experimented with high-precision tree-counting, afforestation tracking, and helping large estate farmers track anomalies. We want to see what insights we can extract from available datasets to shed more light on the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.

Let us know if you have any existing programs that we can participate in or are interested in discussing a general plan.

Some themes on the analytics we can work towards are;

- Effects of actions from each party on the zone's environment.

- Contributions to emissions and climate change.

- Comparison of farming operations and how they were affected by the conflict.

Useful info, I read about Earth observing system at https://eos.com/ that is used for geospatial data analytics. It helps to keep an eye on your fields regularly with satellite monitoring and crop rotation data and enhance future farm activities planning with a 14-day weather forecast for fields. Useful tool for farmers today. Besides they provide effective solutions for Agriculture, Forestry, Oil & Gas, Minerals & Mining among many more applied fields.
