Can I be useful in the Ukraine crisis as software engineer?

If so, how?

I have a fair amount of web-related software engineering experience, I can build tools, automate things. Backend, APIs, frontend frameworks, Linux servers, the typical skills. No real infosec or hardware skills, apart from some playing around with RaspberryPi. That might very well describe the majority of Hacker News visitors.

I assume it's possible to develop tools that would help coordinating some efforts, sharing some specific types of information more efficiently. I can't promise I'll manage to devote myself to this, but I'd like to try, or at least spark a discussion.

I am in Europe, outside Ukraine, if that matters.

(I did not forget about donating money to the right organizations)

Consider offering a room in your apartment for the potential refugee. Also, send some money to the Ukrainian embassy. Those Javelins won't pay for themselves.
