What to do when your HN post is flagged?

I just posted something about cryptocurrency as an "Ask HN", and it was quickly flagged. It was a post I spent a bit of time thinking of, and thought it might lead to some interesting discussion, so I was disappointed.

On reddit you get a message from the mods, which usually points out why your post was removed, and how to amend and resubmit. Here you get no information, how are you supposed to proceed and learn what rules you've violated?

I see it's back online. I'd also remove the last sentence or reword "a bunch of tech nerds", that seems a bit stereotyping.

HN is lacking many features. Reddit has direct messages between users (inbox etc), HN barely has voting and flagging. Some users do what you did here: submit another Ask HN. You can also email the moderators, contact link is in the footer.

You can find the answers to your questions by reading past HN content. Generally it's good to search before posting to see if it has been discussed prior.

HN has grown tired of the constant crypto questions. Your question comes off as derogatory and the title phrasing invites argument. You should be mindful of how your phrasing can create shallow discussions.

Can you provide a link? It doesn't sound likely to be a duplicate so I'd like to take a look.
