Do you miss the Bussiness Of Software forums?
A crapload of years ago I used to lurk around the BoS forums. Like this HN community, I remember it being full of interesting topics and advice, all related to the world of selling software (first desktop software and lately SaaS) I even miss the term mISV.
Did you (the older of the place) participated in that forum? Do you know of similar sites still running?
Yes I do miss it. It was the first place that I encountered HN favorite patio11. If you like those sorts of discussions check out the MicroConf Connect slack at microconfselect.slack.com. Indie Hackers is another good one.
I was a semi regular on BoS maybe 15 years ago. It was often interesting, and I remember the focus on desktop apps. Tons of SaaS skepticism.
