BitWarden Master Password No Longer Works (Solved)

So my BitWarden master password stopped working. I am 100% confident that my password has not changed, but the developers changed the way passwords are handled.

In the past, my password would work on Chrome, but would fail to work on Mobile. I opened an issue and it was ignored.

Now my master password does not work anywhere (APART FROM THS LAPTOP and I was lucky to export my passwords.)

So heres a warning to all. Do not use BitWarden, they handle passwords incorrectly and you may lose all your passwords if they decide to randomly change password handling.

Possible Problem: They truncate passwords before sending to server? IDK at what length they truncate.

Has anyone else dealt with this and do you possibly know at what length they started truncating passwords?

Mystery solved:

My e-mail address was wrong. It was .ccom instead of .com

Oops. Can't delete this post but it would be good if BitWarden verified emails before creation! I guess I added an extra c when I made my account on accident.

Guess I'm the stupid one here, sorry BitWarden!

What actually happened:

My 2016 MacBook Pro Keyboard randomly adds extra letterrs whhen typing (see?) and wheen II made the acccount it addeed an extra l and extra c.

I was lucky to find the original email by clicking "Change Master Password" and it auto-filled my e-mail (or maybe Chrome remembered it.)

Darn you Apple Keyboards, luckily I'm migrating to my new M1 mac!

I am not aware of any truncation, but best to ask their support and/or ask on their community forums.

Can you share your password so that people here can investigate?
