Programming is not getting easier. It getting more complex, but the complexity is hidden . However, this all breaks down once you need to debug the system or extend the system.There is however an ongoing budget increase in marketing to programmer/manager telling them that programming is getting easier.

Spending money - either buying stuff or paying for services.Most things will likely get more complicated due to the ever increasing legal code imposing more complex regulations, and changing more rapidly.
