How much would you pay to fix one of your “bad” mutations?

I would pay for a kit to teach me how to make CRISPR kits. This is/was a thing for a while but the fad mostly died out after some of the creators were taking a lot of risks with themselves and others. I am not lactose intolerant but if I were I would expect the kit to be free since you can fix that without CRISPR.

For me personally I would love to have kits that gave me powerful yet temporary control over sirtuins, ampk, mtor, hgh production, angiogenesis, various enzyme metabolism especially around ascorbic acid to oxalate conversion.

For more serious issues that affect vision or other quality of life issues I could envision people paying a good deal of money if the kit producer could prove efficacy with empirical scientific data and independent third party studies. The kit producer would be under intense scrutiny given the questionable past of CRISPR kits. What type of background and resources would the kit producer have? Is this a home lab or a silent startup backed by an existing lab?

question is too open, it depends on the issue. even plastic surgeries for aesthetics alone range from few thousands to hundreds thousands. hospital bills can inflate to millions and more.
