Who is your favorite programmer?

I am looking for screencasts of elite programmers. The ones that you would have to play in slow motion to catch their train of thought.Would love to watch their setup, shortcuts and problem solving skills. Any recommendations?

Probably not surprising, but John Carmack. Since early on, he made huge strides in graphics programming. His engines resulted in some of the most iconic games that were ever created, such as Doom and Quake. Despite being a nerd, he's had a rebellious streak that got him into trouble when he broke into his school to use their computers as a kid or would push the limits of his driving with illegal nitro boosters in his car when speeding through the desert. He gave away a Ferrari as a tournament prize. And he moved into working in aerospace and virtual reality.
