Article aggregators that you enjoy?


I really like a "fire hose" of content, lots to look through, finding interesting things you wouldn't have thought to specifically look for. That's why HN is so popular, a lot of stimulating stuff everyday.

What websites that aggregate content do you enjoy and what are some good implementations you've seen?

I am interested in making my own. As well as a open source software that streamlines the process of setting up a particular themed aggregate. Where the maintainer would just have to configure new sources and moderate comments essentiually. But this is just in the brainstorming stage ATM.

Also will be attempting automated classification of the data to organize it a bit better, while keeping hands off. Looking at stuff like openai.com for that.

Some time ago, I tested all RSS / aggregators, but I couldn't find any suited for me. They were ugly (most RSS clients) or with defined sources (without ability to add my own), so useless to me.

Sumi me too to give a glance to all news, but I have feedbin for the RSS on Reeder app.

A big problem with these aggregates is there is just too much content, say you were getting your stuff from RSS feeds and google search alerts. Automatically organizing it or applying labels to the data is something that will help a lot.
