How would you like to send cryptocurrencies to anyone's phone number?

Hello,

I've been working on http://blockpay.tech which is a platform using which you send cryptocurrencies or NFTs to anyone even if they don't have a wallet, directly to their phone number.

Do let me know your thoughts & feedbacks on the same. Consider signing-up if you find it interesting.

Thanks Hammad Nasir Founder, BlockPay

Trying to figure out how this would work, the website doesn't really tell you anything.

Are you fronting this money or during the sign up process you have to bridge your phone number with a wallet, maybe you're generating the wallets/tied to this phone # and they have to load it up... it sounds cool/intuitive to use a phone number.

I'd be concerned with theft too like sim jacking though not sure how often that happens.

Are they going to get a text from blockpay saying "you received coin amount".

Yeah... phone #'s interesting but seems like you still have equal difficulty somewhere else unlike old way of scanning QR code/transferring that way.

Also idk how many lay people use crypto or if they have it it's through something like Coinbase/RH/CApp.

Seems rather pointless. I mean, you're not sending them crypto, you're sending crypto to BlockPay and hoping they collect it.

That being said, 85% of conversations about NFTs are non-consensual, so you may very well find a market for your service.
