What's the best cold email you have ever got?

It was back in the early days, right about when spam was becoming a thing. I got an email from an address I didn't recognize. I took the chance, and opened anyway.

It turned out to be the girl I had a huge crush on in High School, writing to say hi. She had bumped into my sister earlier that day, who gave her my email address.

We met for dinner the next time I visited my parents. We hit it off, dated, and then got married in 2000.

Every time I think about it, I'm so glad I didn't delete that email as spam.
