I like the job but the mandatory in-office attendance (now that covid is ending) has become a bit of a deal breaker for me.
Previously worked full-time in the office, but the last two years have really shown me how much better my life is wfh. Absolutely dreading the return to the daily commute. Also got a first child on the way and would love to see them grow up!
Unfortunately the bank is not very open to permanent wfh, for the usual variety of reasons like "in-person energy" despite most colleagues being in India or the US (so effectively remote to me).
Are there any banks or buy-side firms which allow/appreciate fully-remote?
What sort of compensation is attainable?

100% agree, I insist on Remote only roles now. I did before the pandemic. There's plenty of remote jobs here in the UK. Does it have to be Banking/Finance?
