Why was the Web3 thread killed today?
This popular discussion was killed today. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=30058807 It wasn't a productive discussion. But it wasn't off topic and didn't violate the https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html as a submission as far as I can tell. Perhaps the guidelines could be updated or someone could explain why it got killed?
There is a lot of powerful people who'd want negative press around web3/crypto killed. A16Z et al for example. It feels a bit icky to be left wondering why something got killed without explanation.
