Folks who recently resigned or plan on resigning soon, what are some of the key qualities you are looking for in a senior- or staff-level job (not just engineering, but also product, marketing, HR, etc...)?

When I was still looking, I was always looking for cold hard cash. I had the dream of retiring as quickly as possible and so nothing mattered to me more than money back then.Now, if I were to still work, I'd look for purpose, a reason for the company to exist beyond money.

Money and freedom- no working late- no overtime- no on call- almost no meetingTechnically interesting & not evil. Otherwise I do not care much honestly. I do not need work to give my life propose.
