Do you think we'll be able to make adblockers for the METAVERSE?

And honestly besides the awful ultra-targeted advertising based on biological reactions etc... it seems actually pretty freaking cool.

Do you think we'll be able to create adblockers for these devices in the future?

For now Occulus is based on android and is pretty hackable, but IYO how will that change if Meta make their own OS?

Well Facebook attempts to stop AD-blockers by generating random gobbledygook classnames in the CSS of ADs so that uBlock Origin and others can't create rules for them, and this tactic actually works really well. So they would be doing the same with all their Oculus crap. They will try to thwart people messing with their code.

A meta verse could be created by any company, you just need to choose one not operated by a company that sells you as the product.
