Anyone got experience using Scuttlebutt? Thoughts?

Curious what the lot of you who've used Scuttlebutt (and whatever app you use to access it) think about the platform.Scuttlebutt is a decentralized, peer-2-peer social platform where all of the data is stored on your own computer. There is no central server. It's been around for a few years, and has a somewhat quiet web presence. I'm curious about it, am looking into playing around, and always like to check in with the HN community first, since you all collectively have a ton more experience than I do. Just curious about your thoughts on it (or anything else like it). For reference --> https://scuttlebutt.nz/I will say that while I'm interested, part of me thinks this is just the most complicated way to say hello to someone.
