How to handle too many slack notifications in day?

I am looking to get some feedback on how to handle this. I get too many slack notifications in a day during my workday. As a software engineer, this leads to significant distraction and lowering of productivity for me. I have mentioned quite a few times about this in my ORG that too many notifications lead to lowered productivity and hence delays, but I am not able to change the workings of how it is going on.

Please advise. Regards
