How to edit a phone number from the dialer screen? (iPhone)

I paste a number into the dialer. I want to edit it before pushing the green phone button. Can an iPhone do this?My workaround revolves copying and pasting between Notes and Phone but it's 2022 now, it's time to ask.

I don&rsquo;t think so, aside from using the delete button to remove characters one by one.One possible workaround is to paste the phone number and then dial using Siri, making the edits as you read off the number: hey Siri, dial ###&hellip;

I don’t think so, aside from using the delete button to remove characters one by one.
