Recommendations for Dock Station / Hub

Recently I acquired a new workstation (Lenovo P620) that only has usb-c connection and for whatever reason (there is an oficial bug for it, and I dont want to deal with that), my monitors don't work with usb-c. Therefore, I'm in search for a docking station / usb-c hub that is: * Compatible with Macbook Pro 2019 and Lenovo P620, both with usb-c entry. * Works with 2 monitors with either display port or hdmi connection * Ideally, easy to switch back and forward the workstation and laptop connections.

There are many options online, but thought this would be a great place to get recommendations!

Seems to me like most any dock or hub should be sufficient, since they should all be capable of doing USB-C to HDMI or DisplayPort, if the built-in HDMI or DisplayPort connections are not sufficient. In that case, I’d start with the recommendations from TheWirecutter.com.

I’ve used this on both Mac and PC and have had some pretty good luck. I attach the usbA port to a hub an mount the whole thing beneath my desk

Not a docking station, but I recently got a Dell USB-C monitor that works with my X1 Carbon nicely. Its an S2722QC, quite affordable for a 27 inch, 4k monitor, if you get a discount.
