What do you use for OTP?

I use Google Authenticator app in iPhone, but this has obvious disadvantage of not transferring on the new phone, not being accessible if phone is lost, not working on backup phone, etc.

On the other hand using something "cloudy" defeats the purpose of OTP device.

What do you use? Is there a better, but still secure way?

FreeOTP+ supports key export, so you can copy all the keys to a new phone while still having them on the old one. (Only for Android though) https://f-droid.org/packages/org.liberty.android.freeotpplus

Google Authenticator does now have an export function, it works with QR codes, I just make a backup on a second device.

For non important things I use my password manager.

For important things I have physical security keys if it's supported, otherwise the Google Authenticator app.
