Building radar using directional WiFi antennas?
I’m wanting to build a radar targeting an angle of 15 degrees, and range of about 20 metres. This isn’t my area of expertise, but my logic is that directional wifi range is easily 20m with no obstacles. The detection space is empty by default, I’m just wanting to detect objects in this space. Any advice?
Does it have to be radar? You can get cheap off the shelf waterproofed sonar modules that should be able to measure that distance. If its a hobby project where you specifically want to use radar, you can ignore this comment.
