Sharing the Knowledge

There are many people on HN that have a deep understanding of a tech or an issue. As an average reader you can pick up a fraction of that through the comments and it's great.

I'm interested in a lot of topics discussed on HN, though I'm versed in a fraction of those. If I find a topic that I want to stard dabbling with, I often find I don't know where to start, so I resort to search engines.

For anyone knowledgeable in a field that discuss your field of choice regularly in the comments on HN and you want to share your knowledge. Do you feel there is an outlet for you to do that? Do you wish to share knowledge, but you find current platforms lacking?

e.g. I'm interested in graphics/audio programming (on linux). I'd be happy to pay for some guidance/instructions/course, but not sure where to find people that would be interested in teaching/guiding me. On a well known platform with technical courses the phrase 'graphics programming' returns a list that starst with 'graphic design'.

e.g. Is there a website where I can find someone to introduce me to linux kernel programming for payment?
