What are you looking forward to this holiday season?

Question

I'm a big fan of peppermint-everything, personally! As a family we celebrate the solstice with a big mug of cocoa (mine with a little kick). We're finally getting old enough that the littles enjoy hacking new things and mixing and matching sets of things. I look forward to calls with old friends around the world I haven't spoken with for awhile, and getting cards. And, if there is a time, reading a good recent pop-sci/culture book.What are you looking forward to this holiday season?

The soul crushing shortening of days has ended, we can now look forward to longer and longer days! We should have some sort of festival!
My view of time vanished with long covid... I'm not "Christmas, Bah Humbug", more like "Christmas? Really??? oops"
