Yes. Games are fairly universally loved, no one really wants to make accounting software or telecom middleware or fintech apps, they ultimately build them for money. If money was covered then reaching the self actualization phase of life is possible and who wouldn't want to make their own game?

Because if money were not the issue, all that's left as a motivation, would be to build a product gamers love and care about. This means competing in a market that literally measures the seconds of peoples attention certain products get.

I don't wanna be in that market :D
