How to play virtual audio on Windows hosted on Google Cloud?


I am renting a Windows compute engine (gcloud) with desktop access.

I have installed VB-Audio cable on the remote Windows desktop -> https://vb-audio.com/Cable/index.htm (hosted on Azure Virtual Desktop)

I have Clubdeck/Clubhouse installed to listen to it.

My remote system sound input and output is set to the virtual devices.

This works on my local Windows installation but does not work on my remote desktop.

Has anyone had experience with this? Any pointers or triggers?

Will pay you with love and fresh air if you can help me.

Not sure if it’s what you need, but check if you need to turn on the audio experience (I think) in Windows Features (add/remove panel), and if using RDP, turn on audio redirection in RDP settings.
