Why didn't anything reasonably similar take the place of Flash?
Normally when one thing fades out, another thing reasonably similar takes its place. Why is it that with Flash this never happened? Containerized animations, cross platform experiences, etc.

Dunno-ask around in ten years, when Windows is still handing out mitigations for Flash Player. Yeah, sure-why not replace it with something more CVE-worthy?
