How I've tried to solve it:
- Therapy, coaching, becoming a coach, pursuing various certifications
- Measurement of stress levels through various means (others and my own). Spreadsheeting, journaling, inventing own measurement devices
- Supplements & nootropics
- Developing my own modular productivity system
- Diet, exercise & fitness
All of those have been reasonably successful so far, and I've made a lot of progress, with a loooong way to go. I'd say my zone of current expertise is at about level m2_7 in my subjective measurement system [0] which was developed for assessing progress in areas like this.
Current ideas and measures for the future:
- I came up with a new way of measuring time that's more intuitive and less exact. It's based on personality theory. It's brand new though and needs more time.
- Other chemicals (i.e. 2020's _Druk_ / _Another Round_ experiment; I recently left a very restrictive cult, so...Experiment idea A + New situation B = :-) )
- Developing new words/labels for the problem that don't involve the term 'stress'
- Exploring new ways to stabilize a given situation, schedule, or process
A long way to go but I really enjoy this work, particularly the subjective side of it. It does bring me a lot of joy to work on this problem, annoying as it is :-)
