Amazon intentionally hiding late orders?

Has anyone else noticed that, when an order is running late, the Amazon mobile app (iOS) appears to remove that order from the order history? I have seen this on 3 separate occasions recently.

Yup, they totally do it on purpose (likely with the hope it will resolve itself before you freak out and complain for a refund/replacement). Interestingly enough, it has happened to me only on the things that never wind up arriving (so much for my justification guess)… I think it hides on the day it is supposed to arrive (if it is not out for delivery), perhaps only after a known and communicated “your order is running late” notification.

Worth noting: if you search for the product name in the order search, it will show up - just not in the default view.

I just need f’in paper towels, Jeffy B - don’t tell me I don’t need to see the order y’all couldn’t drive 15 minutes to deliver.

I don't use their mobile app, but in the past Amazon has quietly changed the delivery date without notifying me.

I've gotten confirmation emails from them that have a later date than what was on the website, and the order history showing later dates than what was in the emails.

I noticed this about two years ago, these days I have more leeway in time and don't pay as close attention
