I liked 'Chaos: Making a New Science' by James Gleick but that was a long time ago.

'Turbulent Mirror: An Illustrated Guide to Chaos Theory' is also excellent.

I liked “Introducing Chaos: A Graphic Guide” one of a series by Icon Books.

There’s also Introducing Fractals in the same series, worth a look too.

I seem to read it every few years, and it’s all new to me. No smear on the book, I just need to focus more on owning this knowledge.

Nonlinear Dynamic Systems and Chaos by Strogatz is amazing. It’s extraordinarily well-written and illustrated, and if you have some basic calculus and differential equations under your belt, it’s also quite accessible.
