Anyone have any idea John Carmack's dentiment on Meta?

I was just thinking about he said he was pulling back and going to focus on other projects? Maybe this was why.

I don&rsquo;t think Carmack is the type to fall under the guiding hand of a large organization like Meta/Facebook. That has never been how he operated his entire career. He would have found some reason to disassociate imho, but such is the case with anyone with modest anti-authority issues (it has other benefits of course, but, the good comes with the bad).
