Do you use an uniform to code?
In my school, there was one day of the week, where we learnt for the entire day about technical programs (industrial mechanics, wood work, industrial design, automotive mechanic, systems, ...). Among the programs, I chose Systems to learn and the interesting part that I want to share was than the school had forced us to use a light blue lab coat inside of the computer lab.
That old concept makes me think if to dress up an uniform has an impact in the flow work.
Do you use any specific clothes to help you focus when you are coding?
I wear whatever makes me feel comfortable that day...
The keyboard and the compiler do not care what clothes I wear (if any). The only difference is in the mind of the wearer. If certain clothes make you feel smarter, more professional, or more focused, go for it. If, as your career progresses, you no longer need those clothes to be able to focus, then feel free to drop them. There's no magic in the clothes.
I wear the most common uniform I've seen anywhere. The t-shirt.
I like to wear a hoodie a lot of the time. But that's usually because it's 66 degrees in the house when I wake up.
Doesn't matter what I'm wearing. But I need to be under the covers (my fortress¡)
Pink kneesocks and a pastel tunic.
I like to wear a houdie at work.
